Love hearing your voice, as always, plus the bonus of hearing you sing a song that you love. I'm a bit curious about the music production - do tell us more when you have a chance or as part of your next blog entry since that seems often as much a part of our musical journey in today's world. Much love, Manisha
Very well sung, you captured those subtle nuances of this song very well. Excellent breath control. But some of the lines could have been done better especially "Ayegi Ayegi" Milne Ki Bhie Ghadi... as Murali mentioned you could have reduced the pitch of the song (felt this after I heard the second verse)...
Swati, wonderful rendition! I have been quite mesmerized by this tune! As captivating as this song is, I was slightly thrown off by the poetry in the second antara. The lack of rhyming was a bit distasteful.
Regardless, you sang it wonderfully! Hope to see your blog updated more often.
Hello guys, Thank you so much for listening and giving your input.Yes, I do agree that in the 2nd stanza high notes were touched with thinned out voice but the same notes were, (according to me) ok in the first stanza. This song was more of a challenge for me because of the way it was sung, the breathing technique and the continuous flow of words. I might give it a 2nd try. I would not go a scale or even half a scale down simply because it will loose its charm and will sound dull. Swati.
fantastic signing! i completely agree with u that this song will loose it's charm if u lower the scale..the emotion and the energy u hv given the song completely hides those few notes that sound thin but not off sur (to me)
I have been hearing your songs and definitely you are one of the best...
I loved the way you started off...the subtle nuances in the song as shreya sings it is here too..
Jaldi ruko zara and ho na besabar..in my opinion could have been a lil more subtle ..the way it is in the original..otherwise..you have an amazing voice and your rendition is a treat!
